Viva Spanish Programs, located in the capitol city of Managua, also offers classes at our San Juan Del Sur location. You get the complete immersion experience while at the same time offering you a beautiful ocean-side setting to study.

Viva Spanish Programs is owned by an American living in Nicaragua. We are known as the Spanish-language leader in Nicaragua, teaching the embassy employees, the NGO workers, missionaries and tourists. We use tried and true methods and we will have you speaking, understanding, reading and writing faster than you think! Please note by our simple website that we are not about "fluff", like some other schools. We deliver substance. While we offer some activities in the afternoons for students who would like to participate, we are here for the main purpose of teaching you Spanish.

Principally a tourist destination for both Nicaraguans and foreign tourists, San Juan DS is most notable a world-renowned surf destination.

San Juan Del Sur is a warm, friendly and beautiful city, with architecture dating back to the 1500s when the Spaniards conquered this part of the world. It is a fascinating setting to better your Spanish-language skills. Nicaragua is a great destination to learn Spanish as almost nobody speaks English here…you’ll be completely immersed!  Immerse yourself in the beach activities, the nightlife or just find a hammock and hang out by the beach. You may be studying Spanish, but your studies don’t have to be limited to mere book and classroom experience.
